Margaret Philpott

I'm looking for connections with others affected by road trauma, connections with others who are affected by road trauma in their work, people who understand grief and loss, ways to support others who have been affected by road trauma, tools to campaign for road safety, and opportunities to educate others about the effect of reckless driving.
I'm here because I want to remember someone who has passed away as a result of a road collision, I want to support someone who has been injured in a collision, and a family member or friend has been affected by road trauma.

My story

Shelley was a Seaford girl. She was a Brownie, Girl Guide, netball player, umpire, musician and Evangelist.

Shelley learned to play the flute and taught herself piano, guitar and was a natural singer. She detested pretence and above all things wanted to be real.

The night before her sister's wedding Shelley and her Grandmother were killed by a drunk diver.

We believe that though her life was short, the world is a better place for her having lived.
